Working to build safe, healthy and inclusive communities for all by providing personalized assistance and compassionate support to vulnerable people across BC & Yukon
SHARING OUR STORIES & CELEBRATING OUR IMPACT
At JHS Pacific, we are honoured to walk alongside people as they navigate complex barriers and strive to meet their needs and goals.
Through our work, we see countless stories of resilience, strength, determination, and community, and we’re excited to be sharing some of them with you in our newly released Impact Report and through social media! Check out our 2020 Impact Report video and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to access inspiring updates on how JHS is working to create safe, healthy, and inclusive communities for all.
The same community-based work with a new name: John Howard Society Pacific
Over the years, we’ve done a lot of growing as an organization. We’ve seen tremendous expansion in our services and in our reach, with the total number of the population served by our region now being 2,889,745 across nearly 40 municipalities. Recognizing the need to better represent the scope of our work in community, we have decided to change our name to John Howard Society Pacific.
We are excited to align our name with our reach as we continue to work towards our vision of a safe, healthy, and inclusive community for all.
